Frustrated (or dare I say furious) by Apple's move to generate revenue from in-app purchases, Amazon took a bold and innovative move today and released a cloud-based, browser-based Kindle reader for PCs, Macs and iPads. In fact, the Ipad version is the nicest of the lot. I kicked the tires this morning and found it fast and easy to use. The Kindle Cloud Reader works on the following browsers: Chrome (Mac, PC, Linux), Safari (Mac, PC), and Safari (iOS for iPhone and Kindle) Features include:
- Instant access to your Kindle library
- Continue reading even when you lose your internet connection
- Optimized for iPad: shop the integrated Kindle Store for Tablets
