What is Dice Private Email?
When you make your profile visible, we automatically assign you an anonymized email address. Messages will route straight to your normal inbox with filters built in for spam and fraud protection. This allows you to keep your personal email private, giving you the option to decide whether to share it or keep it hidden. By using Dice Private Email, you can control how recruiters reach out to you while safeguarding your personal email address.

- Manage Unwanted Messages: Easily flag irrelevant emails so we can detect and prevent spam or inappropriate behavior.
Block Recruiters: Block recruiters who aren't contributing to your job search or are sending irrelevant messages.

Similar to Private Email, Dice Instant Messaging allows you to connect with recruiters while keeping your personal contact information private. Engage in real-time conversations with recruiters when they’re online, maximizing your job search opportunities.

Here’s an example of Dice Instant Message:
Navigate to Instant Messaging by clicking the chat bubble icon in the header. From there, you will see your messages with different recruiters as well as a green icon to indicate who is online.
If you're offline and receive an instant message, Dice will send you an email notification prompting you to log in to view your unread messages. Pro tip: If you want real-time notifications, simply turn on your SMS notifications within your profile settings and instantly see when a recruiter messages you.
