Lead Field Engineer - Data Center

Job Title: Lead Field Engineer - Data Center
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Fully Onsite with some Travel)
Duration: 6 months contract (potential to extend)
Start Date: October 2026
Work Type: Primarily onsite/field deployment work

Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a resource who can lead their Mission Critical Field Engineering team.

Key qualifications include:
Experience leading site-based projects and coordinating subcontractors and internal teams
Network and AV expertise with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to travel nationally to customer sites (typically 2-5 days every month, with some travel-intensive months)
Ability to lead and mentor a team
Strong communication and leadership skills
These are data center construction projects where the individual will lead efforts to:
Outfit jobsite trailers with AV and network infrastructure
Deploy and support mobile wireless networks across active construction sites
Coordinate project execution across field, vendor, and internal resources
Certifications:
OSHA 10 certification is not mandatory, though it would be beneficial. The selected candidate would be expected to complete the training within their first two weeks.
