Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UX Designer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
The Senior UX Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into seamless and visually compelling user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end UX design processes, from user research and conceptualization to wireframing, prototyping, and final design delivery.
Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and design evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver user-centered solutions.
Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components, and UX/UI standards.
Translate complex business and technical requirements into intuitive, accessible, and scalable interfaces.
Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
Ensure consistency across desktop, mobile, and responsive applications.
Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and design thinking methodologies.
Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, product design, or interaction design.
Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping tools.
Proven experience designing enterprise applications, web platforms, and mobile interfaces.
Expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
Experience creating wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes.
Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design expertise and successful project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing complex enterprise or SaaS applications.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Knowledge of UX analytics, A/B testing, and usability measurement.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise organizations.
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and emerging UX technologies.
