Duties The Annual Brome Adaptive Management (ABAM) project is a joint effort between USGS and several National Park Service units and programs in the Northern Great Plains. In the project, a decision support model guides park managers in their annual decisions regarding when and where to apply prescribed fire and herbicides for controlling invasive grasses and restoring native vegetation.
