Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our innovative team in Washington, United States. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Design, develop, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify potential quality issues
  • Execute manual and automated tests, documenting and reporting results with precision
  • Analyze test results to identify bugs, issues, and areas for improvement in the software
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to keep pace with evolving technologies
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of testing procedures and results
  • Contribute to the team's knowledge base by sharing insights and best practices in software testing

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools
  • Knowledge of performance testing and security testing is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous but not required
