What will you be doing?

As aJD Edwards Technical Support Consultant CNC, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and supporting the JD Edwards technical foundation. This role is remote based within the United States.

This role will provide day-to-day support to end-users, Application Programmers, and Business Analysts. You will be responsible for all aspects of troubleshooting, maintenance, system automation, and performance optimization. Most of the work will be done remotely.

Who you are -- We d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree in a technical field preferred
  • The ability to work as an effective team member in support of the organization's goals
  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of consulting experience, including technical support, technical upgrades, migrations, and implementations
  • 1+ years experience with JD Edwards application software through E1 9.x
  • Available for minimal travel to client location, 90% of work is remote
  • 5+ years of Technical JDE CNC consulting
  • 3+ years of JD Edwards application software
  • 1+ years of structured query language (SQL)
  • 4+ years of System Administration with JD Edwards E1

You'll really catch our eye if you have:

  • Installation & Upgrade experience with J2EE application servers (WebSphere -Application Server, Oracle Application Server or WebLogic Application Server)
  • Installation & Configuration experience with Business Services
  • Installation and Upgrade experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on Windows, Unix, Linux or AS/400
  • Experience installing/supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Business Services (BSSV) and JDE Orchestrator
  • Proficiency in using SQL to troubleshoot database issues
  • Experience with server monitoring tools like BMC Patrol or Site Scop
