Job Description

Combine technology with creativity as you build a robot from scratch or design your own app in Advanced Computer Engineering! Students tackle hardware one year and software the other year. Students not only learn hardware assembly and software methodology, but apply it to real projects like assembling a computer or coding a website. This exciting IT class will prepare students seeking a two-year or four-year college degree in the fields of computer programming, computer science or computer engineering.

Students will study programming, computer languages, computer hardware, troubleshooting and have the opportunity to explore introductory robotic technology. Students will also have the opportunity to earn the Microsoft Technology Associate Certification for Software Development. Internships are available, including Cerner Scholars for second-semester seniors.
