Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Cloud Architect to design, optimize, and evolve our multi-cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, security, governance, and cost management, along with a strategic mindset to lead and influence best practices across engineering and business teams.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and application modernization, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect robust, cloud-native solutions across AWS and Azure tailored to business and application needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience.
• Define and implement best practices for cloud security, compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, CIS), identity and access management (IAM), and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to understand existing and planned architectures; deliver cloud designs that support modern application patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless, containers) and address performance, cost, and availability.
• Provide thought leadership in multi-cloud strategy and architecture, ensuring optimal interoperability and consistency across AWS and Azure platforms.
• Architect solutions with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness, leveraging reserved instances, autoscaling, storage tiers, and cost tracking tools. Provide guidance on budgeting and usage governance.
• Conduct regular architecture reviews, performance assessments, and security audits to ensure alignment with evolving business needs, security requirements, and industry trends.
• Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies leveraging region redundancy, backup automation, and failover capabilities.
• Stay current with new cloud services, architectures, and best practices. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and propose adoption strategies where beneficial.
• Develop detailed architectural documentation and provide clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in AWS and Azure services with hands-on design experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, identity & access, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform).
• Excellent understanding of cost management tools, tagging policies, and cloud spending optimization.
• Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for cloud environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and executive audiences.
