Job Details

SUMMARY: As our Senior Electrical Engineer you will be a technical lead for designers and drafters. You will work directly with customers to answer any questions and conduct research for codes as required.

MUST HAVES:
  • Sizing Generators, Lighting Design, Power Distribution Layouts, Sizing Switch Boards
  • Revit, Autocad
  • Building Systems Design

NICE TO HAVE:
  • SKM Power Tools
  • PE Registration.
  • Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare, or Aviation projects.
  • LEED AP certification (preferred but not required).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the design effort on both large and small projects.
  • Manage design schedules and oversee design team members.
  • Collaborate directly with Architects and Owners.
  • Conduct preliminary evaluations of projects.
  • Prepare various reports and meeting minutes.
  • Produce design documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Travel for projects both nationally and internationally as required.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to applicable codes, company standards, and project requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in Electrical Design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and coordination/arc flash studies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Codes, applicable NFPA Codes, and Energy Codes.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
