RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a Tribal Technology Consultant that can lend insight into Tribal data and IT systems. This position will function in an advisory capacity related to client solution development and delivery. The ideal candidate will reside in the Central Time zone.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct needs assessments, develops IT strategic plans, and provide consultations to Tribes on a variety of information technology process improvement issues
* Support the oversight and execution of defined strategies with Tribes across the country
* Collaborate with Childcare SMEs, Strategy SMEs, and other Technology SMEs who are supporting other States, Territories, and Tribes
* Work with managers and clients to gather business requirements, identify deliverables, and support IT strategies
* Act as a subject matter expert to provide the vision and strategy for application modernization from a Tribal lens
* Provide strategic direction for client deliverables
* Analyze a situation and formulate effective solutions
* Translating system requirements
* Risk identification and management
* Integrate with the Child Care Technical Assistance Network (CCTAN) to collaborate and coordinate technical assistance delivery, best practices, and lessons learned
* Integrate with vendors/partners to collaborate and coordinate technical assistance delivery, best practices and lessons learned
Working Conditions:
* This position may require travel as needed
* Some projects may require working extended hours to meet project deadlines
REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree in related field preferred
* Extensive Tribal technology experience (preferably within child, youth, or family serving programs)
* Experience facilitating workgroups and communities of practice
* Experience in a Consulting capacity
* Excellent analytical skills and ability to see the connection between layers of business applications
* Superior communication skills
* Excellent writing and presentation skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to make technical decisions regarding solutions and how they impact business outcomes
* Public sector consulting experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
