Senior IT Audit Consultant - Contract

We are hiring for the Technology Risk team and looking for Senior Consultants for a 3-month contract to support financial services clients. This role requires occasional downtown Toronto in-office presence (approximately once a week). The focus is on IT risk reviews, technology advisory services, and IT internal audit support.

• IT Audits: Conduct both internal and external IT audits, focusing on IT General Controls (ITGC) and performing Tests of Design and Operating Effectiveness.
• Information Security Assessments: Support information security assessments, including cyber maturity, ISO audits, and incident management reviews.
• Risk and Control Matrices: Develop and review risk and control matrices, alongside business process controls.
• Engagement Management: Manage quality assurance, engagement planning, monitoring, and profitability across multiple client engagements.

• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters in Business, IT, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or ISO 27001 are preferred.
• Experience: 4 - 5 years in IT or business process risk assessment, ideally in a large consulting environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT General Controls, security controls, and experience with audits (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Industry Experience: Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
