Job Details

The Service Activation Departments role is to provide middleware services responsible for orchestration and activation of the following services; High Speed Data Devices Video devices (set top boxes) Phone service Wifi Service Also responsible for tools used for triaging issues with service by service staff and the user interface used for self-install by customers as well as field technicians.

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Manager on the Service Activation team, you'll be responsible for partnering with senior leadership to build and implement corporate IT initiatives that support the strategy and goals of Spectrum. You will be immersed in implementing IT standards, policies, and master plans for the IT function. As well as managing the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve Spectrums internal operations and data delivery. Lastly, you'll implement new technological directions and manage their deployment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 3 years IT work experience
    • 2 years leadership experience
    • 1 years project management experience
  • Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills:
    • Telecom domain expertise.
    • Technical competency to solve complex business problems such as experience with service activation specifically video activations.
    • Experience creating Java/Springboot/Micro services to help us move functionality from Video to Mesophere/kubernetes platform
    • Knowledge of a wide variety of tools and technologies and extensive knowledge in a subset of these skills.
    • Application support and software upgrades.
    • Disaster recovery plan design.
  • Skills:
    • Experience leading others and providing constructive feedback.
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    • Urgency in resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
    • Ability to successfully distill complex technical information into clear, concise yet comprehensive communication material.
    • Ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
    • Ability to effectively manage operational and project budgets.
    • Ability to troubleshoot application, networking and operating systems problems.

    • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
