Job Details

Client is currently undertaking a multi-year ERP modernization program for migrating and upgrading from on-premises Oracle E-Business Financials, Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Applications, and Kronos Workforce Management System to the latest SaaS-based Oracle Cloud ERP Platform as part of business and technology transformation initiative.
As part of the ERP Modernization Program, the Lead Functional Consultant - Oracle Fusion Cloud for Procurement and Contract Management will perform a lead role in driving the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Applications in these areas.
Type of Education and Certification Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration. A Master's degree is preferred.
Professional Certification in Oracle Cloud ERP Technology especially in Procurement and Contract Lifecycle Management Domain
Type of Experience and Number of Years:
At least One end-to-end full life cycle recent experience in the capacity of "Lead Functional Consultant - Oracle Fusion Cloud" in the area of Procurement and Contract Management domain.
At least five (5) years of experience as Lead Functional Consultant implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Applications.
Ten (10) years of experience performing the role of a Functional Consultant implementing Oracle ERP Procurement and Contract Management Applications and related systems. Experience with integrations between Oracle Fusion and 3rd party systems.
Experience in Education (K-12) ERP Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience leading initial requirements analysis effort, documenting as-is and to-be business process analysis and requirements using Azure DevOps or similar tool.
Support key design decisions in terms of in-scope and out-of-scope determination of functional and technical requirements of relevant applications and functional modules.
Ability to coordinate effectively with ERP Cloud implementation teams, system integrator firms including dispersed, remote nearshore, offshore, and other 3rd party partners.
Experience implementing ERP Applications in the area of Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Procurement and Contract Management.
Expertise in one or more of the key Procurement and Contract Management business process flows, for example, Contract Lifecycle Management, Procurement Parameters and Approval Process etc.
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud implementation methods.
Solid Experience with data conversions, integrations with Oracle Fusion using FBDI, Open Interfaces, REST APIs.
Experience with building custom extensions to Oracle Fusion ERP utilizing Personalizations, Fusion Sandboxs, Oracle PaaS/IaaS services.
Expertise in one or more of the key business process flows including Procure-to-Pay, Inventory-to-Replenish etc..
Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
Has experience as a Cloud Administrator with a working knowledge of Fusion Security Console, Cloud security, MFA, and SSO.
Has expertise in creating reports using some combination of OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS, SmartView and other standard Oracle reporting tools.
Has practical experience with Oracle processes and tables and APIs for Oracle Fusion Procurement and Supply Chain Modules.
Possesses strong Analytics and SQL skills with an understanding of data models, data migration, data clean-up for databases of various types.
Prior experience in working at system integrator/implementation partner firms will have added advantage.
Experience with rapid and incremental implementation methodologies. Conversant with agile development methodologies and elicitation and documentation of Epics, Features, User Stories, and Use Case Scenarios using appropriate tools including Jira/Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Public sector experience especially in the Education Sector is a big plus.
Lead Functional Consultant - Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement and Contract Management will lead Core ERP Project Business Team and Application Support Team to deliver high quality systems solutions to modernize CPS's Enterprise Applications for Procurement and Contract Lifecycle Business Areas. The ideal candidate for this role:
Is an experienced Functional Procurement and Contract Management Lead who will drive the Procurement and Contract Lifecycle thread for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform and co-lead and execute successful design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of this platform.
Works hand-in-hand with the selected external "system Integrator" along with the Procurement and Inventory department in analyzing current "as-is" state, defining the future "to-be" state, data conversions, integrations and reporting.
Will lead techno-functional consultants for configuration, gap analysis, and technical validation effort as well executing data conversion and testing cycles using various tools selected for the implementation.
Works with PMO to define and execute on a detailed project plan and track milestones against it for on-time, and on-budget delivery.
Owns this 'green field' implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Implementation and provides hands-on product expertise to the Procurement and Contract Management users and IT Technical staff to gather detailed functional and technical requirements.
Educates and assists the Procurement and Inventory team to implement key business process flows based on best practices embedded within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications.
Will direct analysis and shaping of business requirements to determine most optimal product implementation maximizing out of the box delivered functionality by driving functional and technical design discussions with Procurement and Contract Management and IT teams.
Along with system Integrator, Co-Facilitates Design Workshops, POC, CRP (Pilot) on Key Design Decisions, Validations and Enterprise Structures to ensure a solid foundation for current and future business needs e.g. Negotiations, Contract Authoring, Approvals etc.
Conducts fit-gap analysis of standard products against CPS business requirements and subsequently leads solution design effort.
Eliminates those gaps either by modifying existing business processes or building new extensions to base product without deviating too far from Oracle Cloud ERP product roadmap.
Works closely with implementation partner/system integrator to ensure various functional setups, technical work artifacts and project documents are produced as per previously defined project requirements.
Will be responsible for preparing data for data migration from legacy Oracle system to Oracle Cloud ERP Procurement and Contract Lifecycle Management Applications, including but not limited to extracting data, cleansing data, transforming data, and using load tools.
Post data conversion, works with Procurement and Inventory team members to reconcile data for completeness, integrity, and quality before going into production.
Assists Procurement and Inventory departments with End User Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Works with other internal users and implementation partner/system integrator to refine reporting requirements, drive data conversion, and integration with other 3rd party systems.
Routinely reviews Oracle Cloud Procurement and Contract Management product release notes, roadmap documents to drive consumption of innovation in future releases of the product and implement if applicable.
Drives a cadence of regression testing for each quarterly product release cycle.
Maintains all implementation and post-implementation documentation.
Performs hands-on work including but not limited to doing functional setups, creating sandboxes, writing solution design documents, BIP reports etc.
Helps administer the Oracle Cloud environment along with the IT Operational Team.
Will be responsible for working on development and test environments to manage applying scheduled changes, patching, and enhancements.
