Job Title: Business Analyst (5 Roles) need only locals
Location: Oak Brook, IL, Onsite 5 days a week need only locals
Duration: 6-12 Months

Purpose
Participates in complex workstreams/projects and leads simple, one-two concurrent workstreams, any size project, overall intermediate complexity with minimal guidance and direction from management.
Key Accountabilities
- Consult with stakeholders and business owners to gather requirements, and manages documentation and communication
- Describes as-is/to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process, i.e. process, data, workflow, application etc.
- Adapts to apply different delivery methodologies including SCRUM, Waterfall, and Zurich Lean
- Identification and recording of detailed requirements from business users through interviews, documentation and facilitated working sessions for approved projects and enhancements while complying with the main principles relevant to legal and regulatory controls that govern standard work practices
- Assists with the understanding of customers' objectives, processes, products and services in order to make educated recommendations
- Creates process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components
- Evaluates project impact through consultation with the business, regulatory, Information Technology management, development, quality assurance, validation and training teams
- Obtains feedback and manages change process while implementing the project plan(s) With minimal direction, uses requirements management tools and techniques, such as UML Class/Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases, Story-boarding, Rational Tools Suite and Quality Center, etc.
- With minimal direction, uses data query tools to perform data analysis, profiling and validation
- Produces requirement specifications and outlines solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation
- Analysis and management of requirement risk, trace ability matrix and works with the team on refinement and prioritization.
- With minimal direction, performs quality review checks on project deliverables
- With minimal direction, supports development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities
- With minimal direction, supports post-implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits achieved. In case expected benefits not achieved, supports the analysis to determine root cause.
- Communicates effectively through different mediums at lower levels.
- Supports integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure original requirements are met, assists quality assurance with the creation and execution of acceptance testing as needed Works with Business Systems Analysts and Architects to analyze and document impact of proposed technology to existing architecture and communicate any potential risks
- Assists with selection of appropriate processes required to meet the project objectives
- Assists with establishing and maintaining appropriate communication and engagement with stakeholders
- Complies with requirements to meet stakeholder needs and expectations
- Assists to balance the competing constraints of business need, services, technology, and quality to produce the specified product, service or result with minimal change requests
