Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Network Engineer with expertise in SMV (Structured Methodology and Validation) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing network systems and ensuring the successful validation of network protocols, systems, and devices in a structured and methodical manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Implementation:

  • Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
  • Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Ensure network infrastructure aligns with business needs, performance standards, and security requirements.

• SMV Methodology:

  • Apply Structured Methodology and Validation techniques to ensure efficient and reliable network designs and implementations.
  • Use proven methods for the validation of network configurations, protocols, and designs to meet predefined standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of network configurations through SMV procedures to prevent errors during deployment.

• Network Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor and maintain network performance, providing reports on network utilization, uptime, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, performing root-cause analysis and resolving problems related to connectivity, hardware, software, or security.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration files, and setup documentation.
  • Document and report on network performance and validation processes.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining operational procedures and best practices for network management.

• Collaboration & Consultation:

  • Work closely with system administrators, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure network stability and security.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and IT teams in the use of network technologies and SMV processes.

• Security & Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
