We are in search of a meticulous Derivatives Business Analyst to join our team in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. As a Derivatives Business Analyst, your primary role will be to conduct comprehensive business analysis, design and document business process workflows, and provide detailed requirements for our technology team. This role also involves maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities

Conduct thorough business analysis and document the findings

Design and document business process workflows for our technology team

Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed about progress

Maintain system backlog and prioritize system development with detailed specifications understood by relevant teams

Develop subject matter expertise on vendor platform and design or improve business process workflows and system integration flows

Coordinate between business and IT for maintenance and support efforts around the system

Rationalize and redesign existing processes to enhance efficiency

Leverage skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, and Business Requirement Document

Demonstrate competence in claim administration.

Demonstrated proficiency in Atlassian Jira
Experience with CRM systems
Proficient in conducting Gap Analysis
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Familiarity with AB Testing processes
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
Understanding of Business Process Functions
Experience in preparing Business Requirement Document
Background in Claim Administration
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
