Job Details

We're looking for Finance Data Strategy Expert who is a finance data & analytics expert to help CFOs and senior finance leaders effectively structure and govern financial data, and enhance analytical capabilities support Finance's FP&A, Controller, and Transactional Finance business needs.

About this role

Analysts create must have insights for our clients through published research and client interaction. You will meet with clients every day: on the phone, in a videoconference, from the stage at a Gartner event or face-to-face during a sales support visit. In every client interaction you will help clients solve difficult puzzles that lead to better performance.

What you'll do

Research and represent thought leadership and advise senior Finance leaders on best practices in financial data & analytics

Deliver high quality actionable advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions with clients

Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within these specified areas as well as applicable adjacent areas

What you'll need

10+ years of experience overseeing sub functions or working in finance leadership roles

Subject matter expertise in finance data management & strategy, metrics, analytics, and reporting

Strong business and financial acumen

Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred

Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 140,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
