Position: Dashboard Communications Specialist

Location: Remote, TX

About

We are hiring for a Dashboard Communications Specialist to support their Educator Data, Research, and Strategy Division, focusing on dashboards that deliver critical data for improving educator preparation programs (EPPs) and local education agencies (LEAs).

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and deploy clear, engaging communications (newsletters, emails, webinars) to support educator preparation programs (EPPs) and local education agencies (LEAs) in effectively utilizing dashboards.
  • Create and maintain user-friendly written materials and resources to guide end-users of dashboards.
  • Coordinate communications strategies for dashboards pre- and post-launch, including providing updates on development progress and supporting marketing needs for similar division projects.

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing and communications, including writing, designing, and deploying materials to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe products, with demonstrated ability to create professional, visually engaging content.
  • Experience in email marketing and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom) to support digital communication strategies.

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

  • Strong familiarity with the education field, particularly with educator preparation programs or local education agencies, enabling tailored and impactful messaging.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in video production/editing and advanced Adobe tools to create engaging multimedia content for a variety of platforms.
