Business Analyst

The client is looking for a business analyst with a strong data background to help them gather business requirements and technical specifications for the implementation of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform.

They prefer a hybrid work model with 2-3 days in office.

The detailed responsibilities of the Resource are as follows:
? Capture and document workflows related to the use of UN?s data for the EDM platform across front, middle and back offices
? Develop detailed requirements and interface specifications using a variety of techniques (use cases, stories, data mappings, process flowcharting, Report specifications)
? Work with business users & the technology team to analyse requests for new data services, elicit requirements, and create business requirement documentation
? Understand critical business functions and create appropriate Use Cases; work with end users for acceptance and prioritization
? Work with data stewards and owners to design user interfaces for data operations
? Work with end users to document reporting requirements
? Work with reports developer to enable meeting reporting requirements
? Create test plans, in coordination with QA Analyst; provide assistance in testing, as required
? Create documentation related to data management procedures, to be used post implementation of the EDM solution
? Work with Onboarding and Implementation teams to assist with client questions, understand problems, and recommend solutions during the implementation process
? Help define ways in which EDM Implementation and service offerings can be enhanced over time to meet business demand
? Track market data vendor notifications, communicate with technology teams and product owners to determine the impact of changes, document requirements, and submit implementation projects for development
? Update and maintain inventory of market data vendors, agreements, terms of use, services used, data costs, and reporting requirements, identify and document coverage, gaps, and quality issues
? Catalog and organize data-related issues, recurring manual tasks, processes, and reports with an eye toward improving overall market data quality
? Serve as the main point of contact for EDM data-related issues reported by users
