Job Details

Description
The team is in the process of maturing their IAM program and are looking for IAM Engineer to assist with this process. This team will be onsite two days a week in downtown Chicago.
Point of Contact for all IAM support inquiries and escalations
Manage a ticket queue by prioritizing, assigning, and following up according to established SLO's
Subject matter expert for all IAM policy, governance, process, procedure, and technology
Facilitate and ensure timely completion of the Bank's Quarterly Attestation process, and other required periodic processes
Handle access provisioning and de-provisioning tasks as assigned, adhering to established deadlines
Conduct tasks related to all layers of the account management lifecycle
Create and manage Roles needed to support the onboarding of new applications by the Bank
Assist with efforts to modernize and mature the Bank's access management program and practices
Act as IAM liaison by building relationships and collaborating with key IAM stakeholders across the organization
Conduct ongoing training and outreach sessions with IAM team members, end users, role owners, and stakeholders
Identify and drive process improvements, self-service, and automation opportunities
Collaborate with the IAM Development and Project team to identify defects, bugs, or enhancements to the IAM platform
Facilitate and coordinate UAT and validation activities for IAM and other related deployments and changes
Create, update, and maintain documentation of IAM procedures and processes
Workday, One Identity Manager (OIM), Active Directory, Azure, Active Roles, and ServiceNow knowledge
2-3 years of IT Support experience with a focus on IT Security and IAM
Review RBAC for application integrations within an environment to consolidate roles and streamline processes
Administer identity lifecycle management processes, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts and access rights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications, directories, and infrastructure components.
Conduct regular provisioning reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
Evaluate business impact and risk exposure based on the level of access granted and make recommendations where improvements should be made.
Maintain understanding of business processes to aid in managing enterprise identity and access.
Troubleshoot IAM-related issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain system availability and integrity.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and guidelines related to IAM operations and processes.
Stay informed about emerging IAM technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the IAM operations team.
Additional responsibilities:
o AWS and/ or identity authentication experience provisioning accounts and account set-up
o Non-Human access management requests and support
o Executing Consistency Checks (automated and manual)
o Overseeing and supporting attestations
o Running recurring control processes (reminder tickets)
o Responding / remediating control alerts / tickets
o Support for complex role changes, (reorgs, role lifecycle, etc.)

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 to 3 years of professional experience in identity and access management operations, with a focus on IAM technologies and processes.
Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory, One Identity Manager, or similar.
Hands-on experience managing user access and authentication in Amazon AWS.
Proficiency in implementing and managing user provisioning, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
