Location : Atlanta, GA
Duration : 12 + Months
Client: State of GA Hybrid Description: The Oracle Cloud architect proactively and holistically designs, deploys, and supports OCI infrastructure and applications, optimizing prioritization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project outcomes.

They understand the concepts of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams and business processes and their importance in cloud architecture. Cloud architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
Skills :

Credentials and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience Oracle Cloud development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management and security
  • Experience with implementing Oracle Cloud Fusion as a Cloud Architect
  • Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
  • Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Provide support for incident management and disaster recovery

Skills:

  • Expertise in cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in cloud service deployment, management, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of security practices and compliance.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of networking, storage, and database services in the cloud
  • Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of Oracle Cloud architecture like integration, network and security
  • Good understanding of information principles and processes
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps)
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL)
  • Hands-on experience in different modeling languages (such as UML and ArchiMate)
  • Understanding of IT standards and controls
  • Industry experience in applying application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with developers in an outsourced environment
