Position Overview:
The Vice President of People Operations will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class HR function to support our growing workforce. You will lead a team of HR Business Partners and HR Generalists, driving operational excellence across all HR programs and processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance high-level planning with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall People Operations strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Lead and scale a high-performing team of HR Business Partners and Generalists to support leadership and employees across the company.
- Serve as a key HR leader, partnering with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of HR practices across all business units.
- Provide strategic advice and coaching to senior leaders on all people-related matters.
- Oversee the development and optimization of scalable HR processes including employee relations, onboarding, HRIS, employee ticketing systems, and general HR support.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as the company expands into new markets.
- Continuously improve HR systems, workflows, and tools to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle, from hiring to onboarding, development, and retention.
- Lead efforts in employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management strategies.
- Act as a champion of company culture and core values, ensuring they are embedded into all aspects of HR and business processes.
- Drive initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in People Operations and managing HR teams.
- Experience in a scaling tech company or high-growth environment is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling HR operations functions across multiple locations or geographies.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and employment laws.
- Experience implementing and optimizing HR systems and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $275,000-$325,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
