100% Remote

An Epic Grand Central Consultant works with the Grand Central module within Epic's electronic health record (EHR) system, focusing on managing patient flow and processes. This typically involves configuring, optimizing, and supporting the ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) system in hospital settings. They might also be responsible for business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, and creating documentation for the system.

Key Responsibilities of an Epic Grand Central Consultant:

  • Configuration and Optimization:

Setting up and customizing the Grand Central module to meet the specific needs of a healthcare organization.

  • System Support:

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for the Grand Central system.

  • Documentation:

Developing and maintaining documentation related to system configurations, processes, and training.

  • Collaboration:

Working closely with hospital staff, including clinicians and administrators, to ensure the system meets their needs.

  • Analysis and Improvement:
