Schneider Electric is looking for a Building Automation Niagara Triduum Certified Technician in the Charlotte, NC area.

Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Building Automation Technician with a Niagara Triduum certification. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in HVAC/controls, strong programming, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems
  • Perform software preventative maintenance on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems, including implementing software patches and updating antivirus solutions.
  • Code software using multiple languages in multiple environments as appropriate.
  • Adhere to high-quality coding and testing practices.
  • Suggest system improvements, modifications, etc.
  • Assist with commissioning and startup of new Building Automation and Energy Management Systems to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications:
  • Understanding of analog and digital signal types and their applications in automation systems
  • Niagara Triduum Certification is a must
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for automation and control systems
  • Service and installation of control systems
  • Installation of HVAC systems and chillers
  • Welding skills
  • Proficiency in PC knowledge, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
