Job Details

Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Vice President, C# /.Net Developer in New York, NY.

Design, develop, and maintain software to support trading activities, both voice and electronic. Develop workflows for new products and asset classes. Collaborate with trading desks to gather requirements and feedback. Review and help apply new technologies and design patterns into systems to ensure they can handle system load and resiliency. Mentor junior members of the team through code review and deployments to ensure regulatory and software development lifecycle requirements are met.

Salary : Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $180000 and $200000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years of experience as an Associate, or a related occupation. Requires (4) years of experience with: Java; C#; Excel; open source development tools; UI techniques; and Microsoft development frameworks including: .NET, .NET Core, WPF, and WCF.
