ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE


Medix is currently seeking a Software Engineers for an exciting opportunity with one of our top Healthcare Services clients.


Our client is a large healthcare organization serving active duty US Military and Veteran populations. They are in the process of building a brand new Microsoft-based microservices web portal to help manage benefits, claims processing , reporting, etc.


The Software Engineers will be joining a new feature team (7 members), and will be responsible for coding, testing and committing features for this web-portal, built in .Net 6-7 framework, C# and Angular, deployed to the Azure Gov Cloud. This role will be an established team member and may, at times, serve as a mentor to less experienced team members.


Please note: due to the fact that this contract is providing Healthcare Services to US Military end-clients, ship is required


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Working in a Scrum Feature Team to develop features for a cloud-native insurance patient / provider portal, with event and domain-driven design.

  • This application is a full-stack Microsoft-based application that leverages SQL, .Net 6-7 Microservice frameworks and Angular on the front end. The end-users are Veterans and US Military end-customers

  • This role will be contributing to complex feature coding, testing and debugging in the modern Microsoft stack - .Net 6-7 Framework, EF Core, Angular on the front end -- deployed in production in the Azure Government Cloud.

  • Working with application containerization (Docker) and fully automated CI/CD Deployments to the Azure Government Cloud through Kubernetes.

  • Gaining exposure to, and working with Application Security such as encryption and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)



REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS



  • Required 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer

  • Demonstrated experience with the modern Microsoft application stack (.Net 6-7 .Net CORE)

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Data structures (SQL, Entity, LINQ, EF Core)

  • Full-stack experience with both back-end and front-end

  • Must have Angular (version 15 or higher)

  • Exposure to dockerized applications, hosted in Kubernetes clusters.

  • Experience with cloud-native development and Azure Cloud Deployments


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work Location: 100% Remote / CST Hours
Position Type: Long-term contract (2-3+ years total duration)
Compensation Range: $50 - $70 / hour, depending on experience (There are Associate / Mid Level / Senior level roles open)
