Job Description: As an SAP BPC Consultant, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BPC and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business requirements. You will support the design and maintenance of business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation: Lead or support the implementation of SAP BPC solutions, from gathering requirements to configuration, testing, and deployment.
Customization and Configuration: Customize SAP BPC to meet client-specific business requirements, including data integration, reporting, and workflow setup.
Process Design: Design and improve business processes related to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation using SAP BPC.
End-to-End Support: Provide ongoing support and optimization for SAP BPC users, ensuring system performance, addressing issues, and implementing system enhancements.
Training and Documentation: Develop user training materials and documentation, and train business users on SAP BPC functionalities.
Integration: Work closely with functional and technical teams to integrate SAP BPC with other SAP modules like SAP BW, SAP HANA, and third-party applications.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues and performance bottlenecks within the SAP BPC environment.
Client Interaction: Interface with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and recommend BPC solutions that enhance performance and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP BPC solutions.
Strong knowledge of SAP BPC (Embedded, Standard, or BPC for S/4HANA) including configuration, planning, and consolidation processes.
Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP FICO is a plus.
Knowledge of financial processes like budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.
Proficiency in creating and modifying reports using SAP BPC Web or Excel-based reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
SAP BPC certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in SAP S/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an advantage.
Previous experience in financial or management accounting is desirable.
Understanding of business planning, financial reporting, and consolidation practices.
