Job Title: Senior Analyst, HR- HCMS II (Workday HR Talent)
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Senior Manager, HR HRCMS
SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst, HR- HCMS II is responsible for configuring and maintaining HCM systems, ensuring innovation, automation, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and the company's internal policies, procedures, and guidelines. Acts as the HCM expert and liaison for a department in the organization focused on meeting the needs of the business, investigating issues within the system, documenting changes, finding solutions, and growing the system s ability to serve the department and business needs. Works closely with business partners to support the cyclical needs of the department and supports enterprise-wide system projects to grow and develop technology around business needs and improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as the subject matter expert for the following functional areas in Workday: Learning & Performance and Talent Management.
- Configures and maintains HCM systems, ensuring proper documentation of processes and procedures and compliance with internal audit procedures and federal and state laws.
- The lead analyst for a functional area of the business is seen as the liaison between the HCM system and the department, ensuring technology needs are met and developing innovative ways for the HCM system to meet business needs and solve roadblocks. Builds roadmaps and project plans for new automation and initiatives for their business partners.
- Works closely with business leaders to determine needs, trends, problems, solutions, and automation. Builds relationships with functional area leadership.
- Communicate with the Learning team on training, building, maintaining auditing practices, and investigating problems to find roots.
- Responsible for any large changes within the system, ensuring there are no negative downstream impacts and all changes are properly tested and documented to ensure a smooth transition.
- Manages HCM calendar for priorities for their functional area, cyclically calendar, ad-hoc, downstream impacts, and communication streams.
- Stays abreast of System releases as they relate to their functional area, ensuring implementation and testing of any new initiatives or functions that would benefit the business.
- Investigate any issues or roadblocks within the HCM systems, finding the root cause and testing and implementing solutions.
- Performs HCM system release testing for new functionality.
- Partners with the Data Analytics team and IT team to ensure their functional area gets the support they need to utilize the HCM system to its full capacity.
- Acts as subject matter expert related to HCM systems in finding solutions and automation.
- Mentors and delegates work with other HCM analysts to develop and train the team.
- Protects the company s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risks.
- Measurable Outcomes: Staying abreast of HCM System releases, problem-solving for their functional areas, and automation possibilities, and continuously learning new applications and functions in HCM System.

- No Supervisory Responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or Information Technology preferred or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of related Workday HRIS experience
- Experience in Workday Learning, Performance, and Talent Management
- Pro badge for Learning or Performance and Talent preferred
- Experience with Workday is required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
