Job Title: Wi-Fi Test Engineer Location: Philadelphia Pennsylvania Contract -W2
Need Candidates in EST zone
kills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Wi-Fi testing, WLAN protocols, and security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X).
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- In-depth experience with WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X security protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi sniffers and packet capture tools (Wireshark, OmniPeek).
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi Extenders and Mesh Networking technologies (802.11k, 802.11v).
- Experience with Test Bed Design and developing test strategies for WLAN systems.
- Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Linux and the ability to write scripts in any programming language (e.g., Python, Shell, etc.).
- Testing Tools: Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, Ixia, Spirent, RF equipment, and other related tools.
- Troubleshooting & Analysis: Excellent ability to troubleshoot network issues and provide actionable analysis based on test results.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting test results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in networking or Wi-Fi technologies (e.g., CWNA, CCNA, etc.) are a plus.
- Familiarity with network automation and DevOps principles.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
