Description

SAIC is seeking a Software Web Developer to support the Resource Enterprise Services (RES) for Program Resources and Information Systems Management Division (PRISM), for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) as part of the Select and Native Programming (SNaP) Team.

This role is located out of the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Work in an IT development environment focused on engineering analysis and creation of technical solutions for DoD clients.
  • Provide technical direction or perform complex analyses individually or in coordination with team members.
  • Provide customer support and training.
  • Confer with DoD stakeholders in the design, implementation, and maintenance of web applications and data collection exhibits. Propose web application and data collection exhibit build strategies and create action plans to carry out those strategies.
  • Develop new and modify legacy software applications as prompted by changing system requirements.
  • Manage System Administration aspects of the team's IT environment.
  • Includes a hybrid of customer site and teleworking support based on contract requirements and government direction.

Specifically:
  • Design and develop web sites and data collection exhibits based on client requirements.
  • Prepare exhibit technical documentation, block diagrams, and/or logic flowcharts.
  • Prepare sample test data, conduct program tests, analyze test results, and debug program errors.
  • Customize web-based interactive features and report outputs.
  • Ensure operational readiness and security of IT systems.
  • Manage encrypted SQL Server databases across multiple platforms; configure and maintain database servers and processes; monitor system performance; analyze and correct issues in real-time; provide suggestions for solutions.
  • Provide server administration to Windows IIS web server and Windows SQL database server.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline and at least four (4) years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with two years of specialized experience. Eight years or more of specialized experience, a degree is not required.
  • ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET, MS SQL Server experience.
  • Ability to successfully interface with many levels of client management, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and integrate well with an established development team.
  • Certification -- DoD 8570.01-M Level II IA certification (Security+ or higher) or able to obtain within 30 days of start .

Required Clearance:
  • An Interim Secret Clearance.
