Job Details

Ecolab is looking a Digital Product Manager who will be responsible for building a strategic roadmap of a software product and will lead ongoing product lifecycle governance. The Product Manager will deliver the best outcome-based solutions to customers through digital programs and products while maintaining high focus on P&L and driving pricing to profitability. The Product Manager facilitates the value prop, data & analytics, and technical readiness and connects & translates between business and technical teams.

Product Manager will interact with a variety of stakeholders including but not limited to: external customers, technical & engineering teams, user designer teams, marketing teams, R&D teams, and business partners. The role will report to the Director of Product, Water. This role will support multiple products on ECOLAB3D as well as the businesses utilizing these products.

This position is based out of our Naperville, IL office and will follow a hybrid schedule.

What You Will Do:
  • Drive product roadmap development and communication incorporating strategic and market-sourced requirements
  • Manage product lifecycle; launch through EOS/EOL
  • Drive understanding of buying centers, personas, buyer journey, and corresponding asset mapping for demand gen and conversion
  • Drive and facilitate requirements gathering and prioritization
  • Drive product roadmap development and communication
  • Ensure optimal feature, request for enhancement/bug backlog prioritization
  • Define target markets, identify market problems, and inform product positioning in conjunction with business partners
  • Interact with customers; assist on the digital sale
  • Identify opportunities for business-led delivery and provide consultative support in understanding tradeoffs and developing consensus. Field and customer-facing product evangelism
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to deliver prioritized features, functional support, financial management, and release management
  • Leverage ideas, suggestions, and innovations in ways that make them leverageable across all business units
  • Assess build vs. buy and integration requirements
  • Negotiate statement of work; manages relationships, and monitors vendor performance against service agreements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of professional experience in a large or complex organization.
  • 5 years of recent experience in software product management
  • Experience leveraging skills to manage multiple products within different teams in the organization
  • Experience in the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role at this time

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Marketing
  • Experience in business analysis and Project management
  • Experience in consumer goods, industrial or manufacturing industry in preferred
  • Consulting company experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer problems into meaningful solutions
  • Ability to work independently and navigate matrix organizations
  • Ability to communicate effectively to motivate, inspire and impact others to achieve business results
  • Well-developed and proven leadership, strategic thinking, & business acumen
