Field Service Technician - HVAC

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician II ? Salary: $35.00-$45.00/Hourly

Role Description: A Field Service Technician - HVAC must have at least 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. In this role, you will perform service support activities, troubleshoot, and repair IT Cooling products and electro-mechanical equipment for the Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD). Schedule technical sales or service support for customers.

Qualifications:

- Associates Degree in HVAC, Electrical Electronics, or related technical field with 2-5 years of experience with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, or equivalent education and experience.

- Intermediate knowledge of HVAC systems as gained through experience or successful completion of technical training courses.

- EPA Section 608 certification.

- Advanced knowledge and proficiency of mechanical and electronic test equipment.

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.

- Perform refrigerant system repair work when needed, including leak detection, reclamation of refrigerant, evacuation, and charging of R410A.

Education: Associate?s degree in HVAC, Electrical Electronics, or related technical field.
