Salesforce Test Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for designing and executing automation test strategies across a range of platforms, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure application quality and scalability, and bring value through automation of both UI and API layers. Experience with identity and access management (IAM) is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce and related systems using Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
-Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases with efficient test coverage.
-Test across multiple platforms including web, API, and Salesforce environments.
-Lead efforts around test data creation, test case design, and framework enhancements.
-Identify, log, and track bugs through resolution using JIRA or equivalent.
-Support testing of user authentication, roles/permissions, and access flows when related to identity management.
Required Qualifications:
-3-5 years of QA/testing experience, with a focus on test automation.
-Salesforce testing (custom apps, workflows, Lightning components, integrations)
-Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
-Cucumber with Gherkin syntax
-Rest Assured for automated API testing
-Strong programming/scripting skills in Java or a similar language.
-Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
-Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
