Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Providing IT assistance to staff and employees.
- Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
- Resolving user issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
- Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems as needed.
- Documenting processes and technical knowledge.
- Performing diagnostic tests and proper troubleshooting.
- Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
- Consulting with IT managers, other team members, 3rd party vendors and other departments across the organizations as required.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries with the highest emphasis on customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Entry level knowledge of Networks is a bonus.
- Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
- Proficiency in IT helpdesk software.
- Experience in documenting processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
