Title: AS/400 RPG Developer
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Note: Direct Client Requirement
Mandatory skills Needed:
RPGILE
SQL
Job Description:
- Proficient in RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE,CLLE programming on the AS/400 iSeries platform.
- Write SQL scripts, work with stored procedures.
- Integrate AS/400 applications with other systems and platforms using APIs.
- Ability to write SQL queries, joins, and write cursor programming.
- Strong understanding of AS/400 system architecture and operations.
- Experience with database design and management on the AS/400 platform.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Robot jobs, handling job failures, MSGW in production environment.
- Experience with ION, INFOR XA, or MAPICS.
- Experience with Turnover, DBU, Powerlink.
- Follow coding standards, processes for change management, incident management, code deployment, post deployment validation.
