Role Overview:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional for the role of Data Integration Specialist, a direct hire position based in Mendota Heights, MN. This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $135,000 and requires working on-site five days a week. As a critical member of the Data & Analytics team, you will manage the integration of data from diverse external sources into internal systems, ensuring accuracy, quality, and seamless data flow. Your contributions will directly support robust analytics and informed decision-making across the organization.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Data Integration:

  • Oversee and execute the integration of data from various external sources and acquisitions into internal systems, ensuring efficient and seamless data flow with minimal business disruption.

  • Data Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct rigorous data quality checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational standards prior to integration. Address data inconsistencies proactively.

  • Data Mapping & Transformation:

  • Partner with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design detailed data mapping and transformation logic, ensuring data readiness for analytics and reporting.

  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve data integration challenges swiftly, maintaining system reliability and minimizing downtime. Develop robust troubleshooting strategies to prevent recurring issues.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, database administrators, business units, and external partners, to align integration efforts with organizational objectives. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation of integration processes, data flows, and mappings, ensuring accurate records to support current operations and future initiatives.

  • Vendor & Seller Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with external data providers and sellers to understand their data structures and formats. Address gaps in data and facilitate smooth integration into internal systems.


Qualifications:


Education, Training, and Certifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, particularly Azure, are highly desirable.


Experience and Skills:



  • At least 7+ years of experience in data integration, data quality management, SQL development, data mining, or related roles.

  • Minimum of three years working with data sourced from diverse platforms and environments.

  • Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL tools, particularly in cloud environments like Azure.

  • Strong knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and quality assurance best practices.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, with Azure expertise preferred.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including non-technical stakeholders, to achieve business objectives.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, especially in resolving data integration challenges.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a results-driven team.


Compensation and Work Environment:



  • Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

  • Location: Mendota Heights, MN.

  • Schedule: On-site, five days per week.

  • Employment Type: Direct hire position.
