Job Description
Salary:

SimpliGov is a cloud-based, government modernization platform that empowers state and local organizations to rapidly improve constituent and employee experience through online forms and workflow automation. We are a no code solution that integrates with existing backend systems, enabling lightening-fast implementations that deliver modern and efficient government services.

SimpliGov is on the GovTech 100 list of most influential technology companies to address US government.

The role...

As a SimpliGov Solutions Analyst you will work directly with our customers to assist their digital transformation journeys. You ll quickly get trained and certified to become a SimpliGov guru - helping customers efficiently collect business requirements before designing and configuring automated workflows for release. You ll also have the opportunity to guide their project teams on best practices, teach them how to design and configure their own workflows, and mentor their staff as you help them take the first steps in digital transformation. Lastly, in some cases, you ll get to be more technical, working with customer IT teams on their project needs around security, integrations, and reporting.

Solutions Analyst is an important member of our delivery team, working alongside other Solutions Consultants, Trainers, Project and Customer Success Managers to ensure the needs of our customers are exceeded. It s a busy role, working on multiple customers and projects at a time with varying project lengths, business cases, and complexity.

You don t need to be a software engineer to be successful in this role, but you will have a good understanding of SaaS, enterprise IT landscape, REST APIs, and SQL. You ll also need to be creative, with the ability to understand and dissect existing manual business processes and transform them into automated workflows.

This is an exciting time to join SimpliGov and the role offers a high degree of responsibility, autonomy and variability.

Our wish list

  • 2+ years hands-on SaaS application experience, with preference for candidates that have worked in customer-facing, software implementation roles.
  • Experience with web design, cascading style sheets (CSS), and usability best practices.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, Relational and NoSQL databases, SQL querying.
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python etc.), JIRA, Automation, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Strong work ethic; exhibits a "sense of urgency" relative to resolving critical issues and time-sensitive deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; listening and organizational skills
  • A problem-solver who takes responsibility, demonstrates personal integrity, and can effectively deal with difficult and/or ambiguous situations
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and Delivery team members to deliver high quality projects.
