Job Details

SUMMARY

The Digital Technical Lead, Manager will oversee the technical implementation of new projects on all Hibbett websites. Additionally, the TL will share in the support all production websites, including issue remediation. This will involve collaboration with the digital team, consultants and vendor partners to achieve digital objectives and goals.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Technical Architect to deliver projects based on provided documentation. Translate Technical Specs into actionable Jira tickets for development.
  • Prepare estimates for complex projects to provide management with information needed to accurately forecast project delivery dates.
  • Ensure that new or existing features meet business, functional and technical requirements and practices and that all web issues/concerns are understood, documented and addressed with proper priority.
  • Investigate project issues and partner with the business and vendor as needed to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Monitor system and service performance and investigate issues as required.
  • Oversee the development of well structured, easily maintained code.
  • Handle technical code reviews, builds and releases to production.
  • Ensure technical team members follow established technical standards. Work with technical team to ensure optimal technical design.
  • Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Assist in the mentoring, training and development of team technical skills.
  • Works with the Director, Digital Delivery to devise or modify procedures/processes.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing internal developers and oversight of any assigned consultants

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related functional business area or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in SFCC.
  • Certified SFCC Developer or SFCC Architect.
  • Has led at least 1 SFCC Retail implementation.
  • At least 5 years of Java or JavaScript experience. Possess good understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases. SFRA, PWA, NodeJS and/or React experience required. Strong experience using jQuery, pipelines, controllers, and cartridges.
  • OCAPI/SCAPI experience a plus.
  • At least two years working with XML data import and export activities.
  • Experience with tagging and testing tools a plus.
  • Awareness/experience in DevOps a plus.
  • Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative.
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced and highly interactive team environment.
  • Experience with managing remote technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of the corporate retail environment a plus.
