ABOUT OUR CLIENT / THE ROLE


Medix is currently seeking a Radiology Imaging Products Analyst for a full time career opportunity with one of our top healthcare clients in Northern NJ.


Our client is a large, integrated health system: 13 hospitals, 100+ imaging sites of care. This role is an Imaging Products Analyst for their Radiology team, supporting a portfolio of over 30 Radiology Imaging applications on Change/McKesson PACS & Epic. 3rd Party Applications include Nuance PowerScribeONE, Nuance PowerShare, DynaCAD for Lung/Breast/Prostate, TeraRecon, Hologic, and many others. This role is split between project work to implement changes in applications, as well as ongoing maintenance / support.


Please note that this role is hybrid onsite 3 days / week in Oceanport, NJ


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Working onsite 3 days / week

  • Participating in an on-call rotation (1x, every 4 months)

  • Supporting the PACS platform w/ HL7 interfaces, DICOM - Tag Morphing / Tag Mapping, Modality Worklist creation / support, Auto-Routing and Pre-fetching

  • Supporting the integration with enterprise viewer applications for(both Cardiology and Radiology

  • Working with the vendors to configure / test the workflow build of a number of Radiology Imaging products - including DynaCAD, Viewpoint MDM, Nuance PowerScribe / PowerShare, TeraRecon, etc

  • Providing day to day administration and support for Change (McKesson) PACS and integrated modality applications

  • Leading end to end Imaging projects - from planning, through test-case creation, validation, and go-live support.

  • Working in a clinical environment to coach and train clinical professionals / radiologists on the new Radiology platforms, workflows and integrations

  • Providing system reports, and contributing to ad-hoc reporting efforts, as needed

  • At times, this role may include travel on-site during larger and more complex go-lives, in order to provide dedicated elbow support for physicians and cardiologists who are using the new build.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE



  • Required background in Radiology (ie, Nuclear Medicine / PET, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Imaging, Mammography/Breast Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Interventional Neuroradiology, etc)

  • Strong PACS background (with Change/McKesson, or others)

  • Strong DICOM Tag Morphing / Tag Mapping

  • Required experience with Nuance PowerScribe / Power Share

  • Required background in 3rd party Radiology Imaging products - like TeraRecon, Vitrea, DynaCAD, viewpoint, Hologic

  • Strong project management / project implementation experience

  • Strong documentation

  • Strong Training
