ABOUT SITEC
SITEC is an employee and customer focused Information Technology and Professional Services Firm specializing in design, development, and delivery of state-of-the-art technology solutions, as well as cybersecurity, software and systems engineering services.
SUMMARY:
Functional duties: Perform systems engineering duties in architecting, designing, integrating and testing aircraft and weapons systems. May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of computer software and hardware to aircraft design and manufacture. May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques. Performs the role of System Architect. Makes recommendations about Human Systems Engineering Department.
May also ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing project efforts, and lead problem resolution efforts.
Interfaces with system or program Contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects.
- Participate in the development of strategies to apply Agile development practices to TMPC.
- Participate in Agile software development processes including backlog grooming, backlog prioritization, sprint reviews, program increment reviews, and capability evaluation.
- Advise and assist program executives, managers, and supervisors in the planning and implementation of systems engineering and digital engineering policy and guidance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline (Degree REQUIRED, neither an associate's degree nor additional years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Must hold an ACTIVE Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.
Journeyman: At least five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.
Senior: At least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.
