The University of Miami School of Law has a great opportunity for a Manager, Enrollment Technology to work remotely.
The Manager, Enrollment Technology supports the Enrollment Technology team in designing, implementing, and optimizing email automation campaigns to support the institution's communication strategies. This position focuses on creating personalized, trigger-based email workflows within the CRM to improve engagement and enhance the efficiency of communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CRM systems, automation, data segmentation, and email marketing best practices. This role is within the Enrollment Technology team and will report directly to the Director of Enrollment Technology.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides day-to-day administration and maintenance of the CRM, including but not limited to admission application development, building, and maintaining workflows and forms, writing rules and queries, building portals and dashboards, loading datasets, assisting with event management and communications, and managing daily tasks on the admission timeline. Supports end users and troubleshoots system and process related issues. Designs, documents, and tests new CRM Slate functionality and additional integrations to advance Enrollment Technology operations. Partners with end users to gather all requirements to formulate specifications and translates those into business functionality. Makes recommendations for CRM-related solutions to meet the business requirements of the enterprise. Works with the Director of Enrollment Technology in developing, editing, and maintaining business process documentation, training materials and user guides. Conducts training sessions to implement new or improved systems and procedures. Monitors the accuracy of data and recommends needed changes or improvements. Assists in development and maintenance of a data dictionary for Enrollment Technology related systems. Recommends and follows best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc. Completes regular internal system audits and reports findings to the Director of EM Technology. Assists in training of new users and grow the CRM solutions and skill set across Enrollment Technology. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related field and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCITONS:
Build, format, and schedule targeted email communications in the CRM. Create and manage automated email workflows for various communication needs (e.g., lead nurturing, event reminders, application follow-ups). Use CRM data to develop highly segmented email lists and automate personalized email content based on specific behaviors, demographics, or past interactions. Analyze performance data to improve automated workflows and identify email effectiveness in the constituent journey. Build and monitor fail-safe workflows that handle undelivered emails or errors (e.g., resending to recipients who didn't open or failed to receive key communications). Regularly audit automation setups to ensure all processes are functioning properly and delivering accurate content at the right time. Ensure all email communications follow established business processes and adhere to review protocols. Work with various stakeholders to ensure the consistency and accuracy of email messages and information dissemination. Perform minor web copy edits to ensure content remains up-to-date and relevant. Monitor email performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Identify areas for improvement and optimize email strategies to enhance engagement. Keep abreast of best practices in email marketing, including subject line optimization, sending times, and frequency of communications to maximize ROI. Support special projects and perform additional tasks as directed by the Associate Dean and Director of Enrollment Technology.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an office characterized by high volume of emails and marketing initiatives
- Must be willing to learn new software as required
- Proficiency in email automation platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design and formatting.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience using email marketing analytics (e.g., open rates, CTR, conversions) and CRM reporting to improve campaign performance.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) for email marketing.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Slate, or similar) and email marketing platforms
- Basic understanding of HTML and web content management systems (CMS) for minor web edits
