Job Details

A Cyber Security Engineer is needed to lead the implementation and management of security tools, oversee incident response, and support compliance and audit activities. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining security programs, conducting security awareness initiatives, and advising teams on integrating security requirements into all projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Configure and install security infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, anti-malware, web/mail filtering)


  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including forensic analysis


  • Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and implement security controls


  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines


  • Advise on technology risks and regulatory changes


  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee security awareness programs


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience


  • Progressive IT or information security experience


  • OKTA experience preferred


  • Security certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, Security+) preferred


  • Strong knowledge of networking, OSI layers 1-4, and next-generation firewalls


  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills


  • Ability to travel as needed
