Job Details
Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager to join a fast-growing, highly reputable cyber security company with 100% permanent remote work. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering will serve as a solutions architect, focused on infrastructure hardening for clients across major cloud providers.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager will include:
Serve as Solution Architect and technical lead for client projects in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key client stakeholders
Track and understand clients' evolving needs
People manager for multiple engineers
Work with other departments to determine technical and compliance solutions and implementations
Qualifications for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manage r include:
Effective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptions
3-5 years directly supporting at least one of the following cloud IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Experience with orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Project management experience for individual and team projects (ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery)
Previous experience mentoring or managing consultants or engineers in a professional services organization
Cloud-based networking experience (Palo Alto, Cisco ASAv, etc.)
Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, HITRUST, etc.
Compensation for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager include:
Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000 **depending on experience**
