Job Details



Title: Business Systems Analyst (Oracle Cloud Financials)


Employment: Contract to Hire (Hourly pay to start - Forecasted timeline to convert to salary within 6 months)


Location: 100% Remote on CST - Preference to candidates local to Nebraska


Compensation: $65-$70anHR (+ access to Medical Benefits, PTO, & 401k) - Flexible salary when converting


Responsibilities -



  • Lead system configuration and customization efforts to ensure Oracle Cloud Financials is aligned with evolving business needs, facilitating workshops and discussions to gather requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance and accounting departments, to troubleshoot system issues, provide ongoing support, and ensure optimal performance of Oracle Financial modules.

  • Conduct regular audits of financial system workflows and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency within the insurance technology landscape.


Skills Required -



  • Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Financials technical support, and configuration, including proficiency in modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud technologies, with experience in designing and implementing custom reports, integrations, and data migration strategies.

  • Proven experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, as well as Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.

  • MUST-HAVE: Previous insurance industry experience (with reinsurance & associated regulatory requirements


Education & Work Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree (Pref. Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field)

  • 5+ yrs of professional experience
