Role: MES Strategist and Factory Connectivity Consultant

Location : 100% Remote

Duration: Full Time/Permanent


Position Overview:

Experienced Business Consulting Leader responsible for customer success, excellent delivery of consulting projects, and growth of consulting business for key accounts within the manufacturing vertical. This includes customers in automotive, aerospace, and discrete manufacturing industries within Americas. Accountable for direct consulting and influenced revenue and profitability targets.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish credentials as a trusted advisor with customer stakeholders in manufacturing

Customer delight and growth through excellent delivery of consulting projects

Work with internal stakeholders (Regional sales teams, global competence teams) to manage and execute consulting projects successfully on-scope, on-time, on-budget

Engage with internal sales and account teams to support account goals and targets through proactive proposals and RFP responses

Contribute to pre-sales activities and creation of knowledge assets to support Consulting Services & Offerings

leading teams of digital/technology strategists, analysts, consultants etc. to ensure achievement of goals

Evaluates market best practices to identify & propose/develop services for the specific needs of the account/region

Ideate with customers to create innovative proposals around business problems

Actively contribute through previous experience, best practice and thought leadership

Performance Metrics / KRAs:

Order Booking / Revenue / Profitability of Direct Consulting

Influenced Revenue (Revenue influenced to other Services)

Practice Building (Support Marketing, Thought Leadership, Pre-Sales Activities)

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Experience as Sr. Manager / Sr. Consultant in a reputable Consulting firm

Track record of delighting manufacturing clients through outstanding consultative work, ideally in

Experience working at the front end of technology solutioning, building use cases and business cases

Experience leading complex problem-solving workshops with approaches like design thinking

Experience working with and building up a consulting team (coaching and mentoring)

Deep expertise in strategize, design and value realization across specific areas of manufacturing value chain leveraging technology and data/analytics.

Consulting experience with smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 solutions incl. MES/MOM/IIoT, and data capture / SCADA technologies (e.g. Kepware, IGNITION)

Qualification & Experience:

Industrial, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering degree with minimum 15+ years of work experience in a reputed consulting firm.
