Job Description

- Expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and related tools.

- Experience with data integration and database administration.

- Knowledge of federal procurement systems and their integration.

Position Title: Subject Matter Expert - Intermediate (Oracle Business Intelligence and IDW Support)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

**IDW Operations and Maintenance:**

- Monitor and control interface processing and support error handling.

- Manage data reconciliation, quality management, and system processing (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual).

- Maintain standard reports and dashboards (1,000+ reports, 25+ dashboards).

- Provide user training and ad-hoc reporting support.

- Enhance access to financial and resource data for operational efficiency.

- Support configuration changes, coordinate updates, and mitigate system performance issues.

**iPortal Operations and Maintenance:**

- Manage single sign-on (SSO) and zero sign-on systems.

- Maintain collaboration tools (web conferencing, instant messaging).

- Ensure user access control and role management.

- Develop and modify portlets/functions based on user and governmental requirements.

- Support user training and address Help Desk Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues.

**Database Administration:**

- Administer Oracle databases across development, sandbox, test, and production environments.

- Perform database installations, patch management, and cloning.

- Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity planning.

- Support system upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance.

**Functional and Technical Expertise:**

- Provide Oracle Business Intelligence and Unison PRISM support for procurement-related systems.

- Facilitate user acceptance and training for IDW and federal procurement systems.

- Develop dashboards, reports, and queries to support decision-making.

- Ensure data quality and support DOE s compliance with reporting mandates.

**Qualifications:**

- Expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and related tools.

- Experience with data integration and database administration.

- Knowledge of federal procurement systems and their integration.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to deliver training and facilitate user engagement.
