Federal Sales Lead Aerospace & Satellite Communications

Location: Washington, DC

We are seeking a Federal Sales Lead to drive government sales in aerospace and satellite communications.
Role Overview
Based in Washington, DC, you will develop and execute the company's federal sales strategy. You will lead business development, capture management, and proposal efforts across the government contracting lifecycle. With expertise in OTAs and the PPBE process, you will identify and secure growth opportunities. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the company s federal strategy and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Drive federal business development and sales by identifying and engaging key stakeholders in government and defense. Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure, while aligning sales initiatives with company objectives. Stay informed on procurement trends and contracting vehicles. Represent the company at industry events and work cross-functionally to ensure smooth solution delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal sales, business development, or government contracting within software, aerospace, or satellite communications.

Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Proven success selling software solutions to federal agencies with strong knowledge of DoD, intelligence, and acquisition processes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
