Key Skills Required:

  • Master Data Management (MDM): Extensive experience with MDM concepts, practices, and tools. Experience implementing Product Reference Data is required.
  • Data Governance: Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • MDM Tools: Proficiency with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, or similar.
  • Data Quality: Expertise in data quality management and data cleansing processes.
  • Data Integration: Experience with data integration techniques and tools.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills and experience managing MDM initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Master Data Management (MDM) within the organization. SME in product reference data in capital market, understand all asset classes including derivatives and structured products.
  • Good understanding of market data and market data providers, credit ratings, pricing & FX.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of MDM solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards to support MDM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define MDM requirements and objectives.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate MDM tools and technologies.
  • Oversee data quality management processes, including data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment.
  • Ensure seamless data integration across various systems and platforms.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for data modelling, data stewardship, and metadata management.
  • Manage MDM-related projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote MDM best practices across the organization.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in MDM technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance.
  • Proficiency with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of data quality management and data integration techniques.
  • Proven project management skills and experience leading MDM initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data management is a plus.
