We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Applications Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in our organization, as you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on our laser manufacturing processes. A successful candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy, installation, customer communication, customer visits, Awning Installation, CNC programming, laser programming, Engineering, and solidworks.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Applications Engineer, your core responsibilities will be:

1. Utilizing your expertise in metallurgy to develop and implement laser manufacturing processes.
2. Overseeing the installation of our laser systems, ensuring they are correctly set up to deliver optimal performance.
3. Communicating effectively with customers, providing them with technical support and guidance on the operation and maintenance of our laser systems.
4. Conducting regular customer visits to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
5. Installing awnings and other related equipment as per customer requirements.
6. Programming CNC machines and lasers to execute complex manufacturing tasks.
7. Developing and testing engineering solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
8. Using solidworks to design and modify parts and assemblies.
9. Collaborating with different teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
10. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in laser technology and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Applications Engineer position will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in metallurgy.
4. Proven experience in the installation and programming of CNC machines and lasers.
5. Excellent customer communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
6. Experience in conducting customer visits and providing on-site technical support.
7. Proficiency in using solidworks for part and assembly design.
8. Experience in awning installation.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in laser technology and manufacturing processes.
11. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
12. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
